Organizations need both leaders and managers. It is a complementarian relationship that is absolutely necessary for the health of any mission. A leader needs to push and cheer the vision to encourage the people toward that goal, and the manager needs to work with the people to have the tools and skills to accomplish the vision and increase the excellence of their work.
